Peonies are one of my favorite flowers, they look like huge balls of tissue (note: these pictures are not of a peony at its best, for those of you who have never seen one before). The fragrance they give out is also stunning, but alas their season is gone and I have to say goodbye. I can't wait until next year when they will surely play a role in my wedding.

I love them too.
My mother has bushes of them that she's moved and transplanted and split since she and my father bought a their first house in Maine, sometime around 1970. The peonies go where my parents go. :)
